Hi, I’m Tammy. Growing up in the countryside, I found peace in nature with sunsets, lakes, and mountains. Fresh air always felt like a deep breath feeding my soul. Life’s challenges have shaped me, teaching me resilience, self-discovery, and the importance of having a safe space to process emotions.
As a counsellor, my hope is to help you find relief from whatever it is you are struggling with to feel empowered to make meaningful changes, and gain control over your emotions. I believe that healing looks different for everyone—whether that means building tools and coping strategies, connecting to your inner strengths, or simply having a space to express and process your emotions.
I have worked in the area of Human Services for over 25 years. My driven passion is working with those who are affected by addictions, personally or relationally. What I have embraced working with this population is addiction is a relieving solution for mental health concerns, grief and loss or trauma. Working with all populations in the areas of Mental health provides opportunity to process and heal through whatever it is that is causing concern.
I graduated VCCT with a Counselling Education.
